It’s spring time and time to mix up your wardrobe and try out new outfits. Today I had a presentation based on working in the fashion industry and I had to dress the part. It seemed overwhelming but really the key to looking professional is dressing up a basic outfit. Of course you should never go to work in something that you would wear to the beach or binge watch Empire in but their are other options.
Today I decided to dress up a jumpsuit from Old Navy because it was very comfortable and cute. The jumpsuit itself has spaghetti straps but to dress it up I added a denim blazer. The denim blazer is such a great addition because it is just like a jean jacket but “more” professional. I then added a cute and short little wedge that is perfect for spring. The straps on the heels were a black and brown which complimented both the jacket and jumpsuit.
Accessories are always an important addition to any outfit and they can help your outfit be more unique. For jewelry I decided to add my Fossil Q watch and gold layered hoops. Gold jewelry with yellow is my favorite because they compliment each other like the yellow compliments my complexion. I used a denim purse to compliment the jacket since denim on denim is a fashion trend this season.

The denim blazer and denim Dooney and Bourke bag are previous items from my Mom’s wardrobe passed down to mine and therefore I can not find the items anymore.
